Frontier Motel

You can tell the owner takes pride in their property. Everything is very neat and clean. Great outdoor gazebo with gas grills. For the price you just can’t beat it . This will definitely be a place I will stay at anytime I am in the area.

This is the first place I stayed at that when I opened the door to our room, it smelled like it was thoroughly cleaned. The rooms are nicely set up and very clean. You can tell they pay attention to detail when cleaning. The service is fantastic and it's right off of 36 which is very convenient! This is a little town so few places to choose from to eat but this place is worth the stay. The picture I posted is after my kids tested out the beds.

This little gem of a motel deserves more love. It's clearly older, but very well updated, including a microwave and mini-fridge. I did have to wait exactly one minute for hot water to reach my room (which was at the far end of the building) but then it was ample. My only complaint was that the AC unit in my room (26) sometimes got noisy. Everything was spotlessly clean. Don't be put off by the closed restaurant in the front building. The motel office is at the west (right) end of the building. There's very little in the way of restaurants in town, especially on Mondays, so plan ahead for meals. The motel does not provide any breakfast.

Great place to stay while traveling across Kansas. Rooms are mostly renovated but more importantly they were very clean. Air conditioner wasn't on before we got there so it was a little humid for awhile but cooled down fast. Customer service was awesome and check in was easy.

The hotel is old but super clean and the air conditioner runs cold! Check in was easy and nice owner.

Older rooms but functional. Owner was exceptional. 10/10, would stay again if passing through Oberlin.

I checked into this little motel as we were in town for work. The hotel when I first pulled up looks abandoned. I turned and went looking down the street for the proper location. When I called the manager he directed me back to what I thought was the abandoned building. Turns out that the front building isn’t part of the main motel. Upon completion of check in, i was directed to being the front building. The motel behind is clean, and with curb appeal. The rooms are renovated with new carpet, tile around the bath and new sink vanity/counter. The room albeit small is clean and tidy. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion are supplied. The AC blows cold, there is a fridge, microwave and coffee pot supplied. Unless things change by morning, I’ll give this a good review, and I definite “I’d return” Motel is pet friendly, with a dog walking area that is clean and well trimmed.
